Aimée Miles first began acting at eight, in a production of Oliver! at Theatreworks in the San Francisco Bay Area. She continued performing throughout her school years, attending both the prestigious California State Summer School for the Arts and UC Santa Barbara’s Young Artists Vocal Institute. She went on to major in Theater and Latin American Studies at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where she also gained her first film exposure. This love for on-camera work brought her to Los Angeles in 2001, and she has since appeared in dozens of indie films and festival favorites, including I’m Through with White Girls and Parti Avec Le Vent. Her television work kicked off in 2004 on NBC’s Passions, as Madeline Marsh, the fisherman’s daughter. Soon after, Aimée appeared on CSI: Las Vegas as Corrine Strong, mother and wife in a horrible tangle. Kids around the country saw her in Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh Go Hollywood, as a snarky ticket agent, and also as a coffee shop waitress in Spiderman-3. Despite her on-camera attention, Aimée continued her theater ties by producing and directing women’s theater, as well as work-shopping new musicals at LA’s renowned Academy for New Musical Theater. Acting Reel
As a singer, Aimée is both versatile and unique. She has strong roots in musical theater, but has a love for classical, pop, and jazz as well. She can transform from a high coloratura soprano to a rich alto, a trick that - along with her vivid storytelling - keeps her cabaret performances full of variety and pluck. Over the years she has sung in multiple concerts and over twenty musicals on both coasts and abroad (Europe, South America), and most recently around the San Francisco Bay Area at such venues as SF's historic Cannery, The Octavia Lounge, Angelica’s Bistro and the North Beach Jazz Festival's Jazz on Grant series. An impromptu performance at a Sonoma winery landed her in the Tyrolean Opera Program in 2007, where she and other young singers studied intensively for three weeks in Maurach, Austria. She was most recently seen around the country, singing on ABC’s Christmas special featuring North Beach’s own Porzuincola, a shrine to St. Francis of Assisi. Vocal Reel
Aimée’s newest medium has been the world of voice-over. As a musician and actor, this has been a natural step, and has taken her voice everywhere from radio and TV commercials, to video games and the internet. Aimee’s character range is as eclectic as her vocal styles, and she is thrilled to finally be allowed to work in Spanish as well, a language she has spoken fluently for many years. You may catch Aimée’s voice in commercials such as Sprint, McDonald’s, Saturn, 24-hour Fitness, Invisiline, and in games from Electronic Arts, such as Godfather II, and the award-winning Dead Space.
